Let me introduce myself – I am 27, a biologist and a Master Scientific Illustration senior at Hogeschool Zuyd/Maastricht University. I was receiving a scholarship for talented students all along my study in Slovenia, where I obtained my Bachelor degree in Biology in 2011 at the University of Ljubljana.
In the Master Scientific programme we are able to dissect, study and perfect our process of creating a quality scientific illustration. The programme grants all their students an advanced illustration skill set, and since I am approaching my graduation project, my skills using Adobe suite are sufficient for any challenges you might propose. I am eager to put my skills to work, meet new people, build team spirit and all that goes with it.
I have previously worked on projects with scientists, in composing info panels for natural reserves, as well as co-authored and illustrated books, magazine articles, book covers, promotion material for ecology involved projects etc. I have illustrated hundreds of birds in the past decade and many other biological subjects, including anatomical specimens.
